The biggest difference b/t this and the Hilbert problems is that most of these are either too abstract to have a provable answer, or phrased in such a way that the answer is surely &quot;Yes&quot;.  (the details of a really good answer being left to the sense of aesthetics of the reader/reviewer)

Perhaps as a first set of meta-problems one could suggest:  write a provably solvable challenge addressing each of these 23 topics, with footnotes and explanations if necessary.]]></description>
